Privacy and terms
Last updated 7 October 2026.
These cover this website, beta requests and the Alert Noise Report only. The product's own privacy notice and terms are shared with design partners before they send any alert data.
Privacy
BlipLite is run by Zeieshan McSparron. For this site, that makes us the data controller under UK data protection law. When you request beta access we collect your email address and, if you choose to answer, your role, company or team, how many people are on call, the incident platform and alert sources you use, and anything you tell us about your alerting. Only your email is required.
The Alert Noise Report analyses alert data in your browser. Your alert data isn't uploaded. If you unlock the full report, we receive your email address and the report's totals (such as the number of events, groups and likely pages), not alert names, labels or contents.
Why we collect it
To send you a one-off note when you ask for access, contact you about the private beta, choose design partners, and decide what to build first. We won't sell your details or use them for unrelated marketing.
Our legal basis
Your consent, which you give by requesting access or unlocking a report. You can withdraw it at any time by asking us to remove you, and we'll delete your details.
Who processes it
The site is hosted on Vercel. Beta requests are stored in a Google Sheet (Google), and the confirmation email is sent through Resend. These providers process your details only to provide those services to us.
Some of them are based in the United States, so your details may be processed outside the UK. Where that happens, it's covered by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK–US Data Bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other sites, and doesn't identify you personally, so there's no cookie banner. We also count steps such as starting the demo or submitting a form, without any personal details attached.
How long we keep it
Until the private beta ends and you've had the chance to join, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask to see a copy of your details, correct them, delete them, or object to or limit how we use them, by contacting hello@bliplite.com. We'll reply within one month. We don't make automated decisions about you.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to sort it out first.
Terms
This site describes a product that is still being built. Features, integrations and pricing shown here may change before launch, and examples on the site are illustrative.
Requesting beta access doesn't create a contract or guarantee access. The Alert Noise Report is an estimate from simple rules, not advice about your systems. Full terms of service will be published before the product is available.
Please don't misuse the site, for example by submitting other people's details or trying to overload the sign-up form. The site is provided as it is, and while we work to keep it accurate and available, we can't promise it always will be.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
